Ann Brasco, Author
Ann Brasco is a weekly parenting blogger on nj.com. Her articles have been published in The Newark Star Ledger Newspaper, on everydayfeminism.com, among other publications. Ann is also a columnist for the Seabrooker newspaper in Seabrook Island, SC. Ann blogs on her own website: annbrasco.com. Her short stories and poetry have been published in the literary magazine, Voices in the Library.
Ann received a Master’s Degree in clinical social work from New York University (NYU). She was awarded the Dr. Georgia L. McMurray Student Award, presented to one student in New York City for outstanding contribution to services to children and families. She earned a B.A. in English and criminal justice from Caldwell University. It was at Caldwell University that she was the co-editor of their literary magazine, Calyx. At graduation, Ann was awarded the English Departmental Award granted to one student for excellence in academic pursuit and outstanding achievement on the cumulative subject exam.
Ann is an avid reader and has always considered herself a writer, even creating stories in her mind as a child before she was able to write. Ann currently resides in Northern New Jersey with her forever family who consists of three daughters, three rescue dogs, and one husband.
Denise Costantino, Artist
Denise DeBiasi-Costantino has delighted many residential and commercial owners with her artistic painting and design skills.Her work has been featured in various magazines such as House & Garden and Design New Jersey. She is an active member of International Decorative Artisans League. Denise earned a B.F.A. degree from William Paterson University, in illustration and painting. She received award at the annual Society of Illustrators Student Award for her “Window Under the Sea” a three dimensional children’s book for overall design and execution. At Montclair State University she was a contributing illustrator in the Four Walls publication of Quarterly.
As a child Denise has always enjoyed drawing, painting and scribbling on walls. Denise currently resides in Northern New Jersey with her loving husband and when she is not busy painting you can find her collecting seashells along the shore for her next scribble.
